Our P&C
About
P&C’s purpose is to bring parents, citizens students and teachers into close cooperation. We do this through fundraising activities throughout the year (to benefit the school), and by running the Hungry Heights Canteen and the Uniform Shop.
How do I join?
You can join the P&C through QuickCliq (Membership is found under the Uniform tab).
What fundraising do you do?
The P&C partners with the school and raises money for the purchase of specific equipment for classrooms and the improvement of school grounds. We hold regular fundraising activities that hope are fun for kids, helpful to parents and manage to provide for the school. Our regular fundraisers include:
- Easter Raffle
- Mother’s Day Stall
- Father’s Day Breakfast
- Grandparents’ morning tea
- Bi-annual ball
- Various fundraising ordering through Thompson’s Bakery, mango trays, Tamburlaine Wines.
We also partner with the school to put on discos towards the end of Term 1, 2 and 3.
How can I get involved?
Come to a meeting, take a shift in the canteen, or volunteer at a fundraiser.
The P&C meets on the first Monday of each month in the evening at school. You can volunteer to help set up a fundraising activity by contacting the P&C Secretary on merewetherheightspublicschool@pandcaffiliate.org.au.
Stay up to date with notices from your P&C by signing up to the Facebook group MHPS Canteen and P&C Noticeboard.
